Ok, I'm getting over the whole dead leaves thing. I'm in a hurry so I'm going to copy and paste the dine-n-draw info from Will's journal:

"Just wanted to post a reminder to folks that this months Dine and Draw is going to happen this Wednesday at 7pm located at the Steak and Shake on Wendover beside Fuddrukers.

It was brought to my attention that this will mark our one year anniversary for the Dine and Draws. It is crazy how time flies. I do want to thank everyone involved in these functions for participating and making the year go by so fast.

To honor our one year anniversary we will be drawing up some Zombie Santas like we did a year ago. Thanks for informing of the year anniversary and for the suggestion on making the Zombie Santas our anniversary drawings.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there."

Hey Y'all!

I guess I got sidetracked from DA for the last couple of weeks. I was finally coerced into setting up an account on certain "social networking" site. It's been fun seeing people who I haven't had contact with in years and years. But now I'm returning , like a drunk staggering home from a party to my Deviant Art wife! Hahahaha!

This time of year is hard on me. I used to really love fall when I was young. Growing up on a working farm, fall always signaled the end to a long spring and summer of hard labor, and time to start relaxing and look forward to Christmas. Now, summer is warm and fun with long days outdoors, and fall signals the onslaught of cold, dark, rainy days... like today. The leaves have fallen, conquered by The Grey. Plus, I had to go to 3 seperate funerals in a week's time.

I hope I can start getting some new pieces up soon. I was waiting for a few things to get printed first.

Ha! Wonderful! Thanks to those who made it. We had a lot of fun! I took a few pics, but... I don't know how to put the pics in this post, so you'll have to go check them out in my gallery. Don't hate!

has licensed his comic, Amber Atoms, to Comixology ( see here: [link] ). Amber Atoms was previously printed through Image Comics and is up to issue #5.

It's a great looking book, so if you're able then download the first issue for FREE onto your Ipod. The second issue is also available for 99¢.

Anyway, I'm very interested in seeing where all this goes with digital comics. I think it's a great way for creator-owned projects to find their way into the market, where they otherwise couldn't get printed. Everyone I've ever talked to who has seen actual downloaded comics onto their device of choice has been surprised at how nice the comics look. In your head, you might think "too small", but since it's broken down panel-by-panel it looks pretty spiffy!
